We're off to Arkansas this weekend to visit my adorable brother-in-law. Apparently there's some big game this weekend? Of football? Something about Florida? Anyway, I've been instructed to wear red, and I'm hoping someone'll teach me how to holler like a pig. Cause that's what these crazy Arkansans do, you know.
So here's what the hubby and I are listening to right now. No doubt it will be played many times on the drive.

Katy Does Japan
No, not this Katie...that Katy!
A reporter from a Japanese magazine came to Texas to do a story about the Lone Star going green. He did a feature on the Katy Trail, one of Dallas's finest parks.
Click here to see the story - it's a really good read, I promise...
Also - Katy Trail Days is coming up - Oct. 25 - Nov. 2. Activities include a chalk art competition, a pumpkin party, a pub crawl, and a dog trot - I'm already polishing Angus's walkin' shoes...

Something to look forward to
In a few years, you may be looking for more than thread count when you're shopping for a new pillowcase or duvet cover.
"Sheets will be infused with various skin-softening moisturizers, and even caffeine to minimize cellulite," says Jeanine Recckio, a trend forecaster and beauty "futurologist." With every toss and turn, the ingredients will penetrate your skin, making your mornings a little smoother.
(as seen in the October issue of The Oprah Magazine)
Imagine the possibilities. Also, where can I get a job as a "futurologist?"
